Great Taste

When I am sick all I truly care about is getting better.  Not much else crosses my mind except for all the things I would rather be doing other than being sick.  This may sound selfish to some, but it is how I feel and I am sure I am not alone in this sentiment.  Who truly likes feeling awful and not being able to do anything?  Maybe someone does, but I do not think it is any fun.
Recently I became sick.  It was pretty severe.  While traditionally people turn to chicken noodle soup to feel better, I do not.  I have never taken to it.  Instead I seek out Hot and Sour Soup from the restaurant Great Taste.  Located in Wauwatosa, WI, Great Taste is my favorite Chinese restaurant.  Somehow its Hot and Sour Soup always manages to make me feel better.  Of course I find it hard to stop at the Hot and Sour Soup.  I also have to get my favorite meal of Moo Shu Chicken.  This is my favorite dish of all Chinese food, without MSG, please.  It is all I ever order.  This does not mean I have never tried other dishes from the menu or think they are bad.  That is the furthest thing from the truth.  The rest of my family works with more variety and I have tried what they order.  We are very good at sharing.  I have had the Moo Shu Veggie and at least one of the other vegetable dishes.  One time General Tso’s Chicken was ordered for my brother.  I did not get to try that one.  It did not last long.  One minute it was in the container, the next it was gone.  No matter what is ordered, Moo Shu Chicken must always be on the table.
When I am sick is not the only time I go to Great Taste. It is also where I usually go when I come back from traveling. Or when I feel like eating Chinese food. It is good at any time. The amount of food I am given can last me for days, and it does not cost a lot. I am always happy to go to Great Taste.
