Scream

I am puzzled as to why this movie is not called Scream 5 . It would make much more sense to me if it was, but it is not. There is some long explanation in the movie itself as to why this is. I tuned out at that moment. This is also the point where it is explained what a requel is. I guess I missed some important information as my mind wandered. Oh, well. Onto the movie. Scream Ghostface returns to Woodsboro, again It has been over a decade since the killer known as Ghostface (voice by Roger L. Jackson) has made an appearance in Woodsboro. As usual, Ghostface’s first victim is a teenage girl in her home. Except this time, the victim is able to escape. Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega) is the girl under attack. To keep Ghostface outside, she uses her phone to lock the doors in the house. Doing this allows her to stay away from the door and keep Ghostface out of the house for a time. Back and forth Tara and Ghostface lock and unlock the door (because somehow Ghostface has access to

Miss Scarlet & the Duke

When will William learn? Eliza Scarlet is not going to let anyone or anything get in her way if there is a case she wants to pursue. Not William. Not anyone. The thing is, despite what he says, I don’t think William would want her to be any other way. Miss Scarlet & the Duke Season 2 Kate Phillips, Stuart Martin Eliza Scarlet: Private Detective Private detective Eliza Scarlet (Kate Phillips) is working hard to keep her private detective agency running. She takes the cases no one else wants, including the police. In fact, it is a case the police ignored that breaks up the start of a romantic relationship between Eliza and Detective Inspector William “Duke” Wellington (Stuart Martin). The case is a missing person case. William closed it without anyone truly looking into a young woman’s disappearance. The woman’s sister learns the case has been closed, tells off William, then hires Eliza to look into the matter. Of course, Eliza solves the case. One would think William wou

Murder Ahoy

For some reason, I have a really hard time keeping my attention on Murder Ahoy . It is only an hour and a half long, so it’s not as though it takes a lot of time to watch. Still, partway through my mind begins to wander. Despite this, it is a movie to watch. There are a lot of funny parts that are great to see. Murder Ahoy Miss Marple witnesses a murder Because of her grandfather, Miss Marple (Margaret Rutherford) is on the board of trustees for the ship HMS Battledore . During her first board meeting, one of the other trustees dies. As everyone deals with the confusion over someone suddenly dying during a meeting, the snuff from the deceased trustee’s snuff box is stolen. Thanks to having gotten some of the snuff on her glove earlier, Miss Marple has something she can test at home. Using her home science equipment, Miss Marple is able to confirm her fellow trustee was murdered. Murdered with his own snuff. Miss Marple also realizes his murder has to do with the Battledore .

Scream 4

Scream 4 is the movie in the Scream series I was looking forward to watching the least. I knew I had seen part of it before, and I remembered it was very strange. Watching it all the way through, I can confirm it is odd, strange, and unbelievable. But, as it does lead into the fifth movie, it needs to be watched. Scream 4 Sidney Prescott returns home Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is back in her hometown of Woodsboro to promote her new book. She is arriving in time for the anniversary of the first Ghostface killings Sidney and the town went through years ago. The teenagers are using this anniversary as an occasion to celebrate and party. Ghostface costumes are even put on top of light poles. Sidney sees the light poles and takes it all in stride. Her book is about moving on, and that is what she intends to continue to do. She has finally found peace with her past, but the peace is disturbed when people begin to be killed. The first two people killed are teenage girls from

Scream 3

One would think, that after twice being tormented by killers posing as a character named Ghostface (voiced by Roger L. Jackson), that Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) would have taken every self-defense class known to man. I would think she would have trained enough to be a black belt in something. But by the time we reach Scream 3 , that is not the case. Instead, Sidney lives far out, away from everyone. Not necessarily a bad idea when trying to get away from a past like Sidney has, but I think the martial arts training would be good too. Scream 3 Parker Posey, David Arquette Neve Campbell Courteney Cox Arquette, Deon Richmond Ghostface tries to draw out Sidney Cotton Weary (Liev Schreiber) has earned a name for himself after being found innocent of murder and released from prison. He even has his own talk show. Yet, because he has a connection to Sidney, he meets his demise. The killer, dressed as Ghostface, is looking for Sidney. The problem is, she is in hiding. To bring he
