My Current Interest

                     I watched the first three seasons of The Next Iron Chef , but the Super Chef season is the one I am most excited about.   Most of the competitors are chefs I have seen on their own cooking shows or in other cooking competitions.   While all these people have proved themselves in the culinary world, there is something about Iron Chef that ramps everything up.   I am curious to see what each one will pull out in order to earn the title of Iron Chef.                        This season things are run a little differently.   Usually there is a small challenge and then the elimination challenge.   The Super Chefs have a different set-up.   There are still two challenges per episode.   The first has everyone competing.   A winne...

                   It has been years since I have attended a ballet performance.   When I saw the Milwaukee Ballet was going to perform Dracula , I knew I had to go.   I have read the book twice and seen the play, so I was really curious as to how it would be translated into a ballet.                 Overall the ballet was well done.   There were a few confusing parts where I was wondering if something was actually happening of if it was part of a nightmare.   Also during the hotel scene it was difficult to tell who was who.   I do not believe this had anything to do with where I was sitting.                 One person that could never be mistaken was Dracula.   First off, the dancer was tall and held his body very stra...

             WARNING! Do not watch this show at night!   It is terrifying.   So what do I do?   I watch this show at night.                 An FBI team of criminal profilers travel around the country solving cases they have received.   The team does this by putting together a profile of the criminal.   They use this profile to narrow down who the criminal may be and what he or she may do next.   The profiles are created based on actions that have occurred and any other tiny details the agents may discover.   It is fascinating to listen to how the team comes to their conclusions.   Then the team does whatever they can to catch the person before any more harm is done.   A lot of the people they are looking for are serial criminals and do some gruesome things.   That is why it is not good to watch at night...

                To be completely honest, I have not watched a baseball game all season.   Not just the Milwaukee Brewers, but anybody.   I also have not paid full attention to who is where in the rankings.   That does not mean I have not been supporting the Brewers.   Despite my lack of attention, I always want them to do well and I am happy when they do.                 Sadly, the Brewers’ season ended recently.   They were playing for the National League title and the St. Louis Cardinals came out on top.   While this is disappointing, I am not in any way disappointed in the Brewers themselves.   They had a great season.   At one point I believe they were ten games ahead.   Then they made it into the playoffs by being number one in the central division, and had home field advantage.   I...
